President - Zohra Samji-Bell

Zohra Samji-Bell is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning graphic design, teaching, instructional design, and project management.

In her current role, she shapes the curriculum for Southwest Airlines’ technology department, focusing on designing and delivering training programs. Previously, at Navan, Zohra aligned rebranding and training initiatives, showcasing her versatility in instructional design.

Her journey from high school math teacher to instructional designer reflects her adaptability and commitment to learning and development.With the support of her local ATD chapter and leveraged connections, Zohra seamlessly transitioned from teaching to instructional design. In her role as ATD Fort Worth President Elect,

Zohra not only fulfills her official duties but also takes pleasure in guiding professionals towards careers in learning and development. She utilizes her experience to assist others in finding their path in this field, demonstrating a strong commitment to mentoring in career progression.

President Elect - Sharon Duong

Sharon is a Human Resources and Learning professional with over 10 years of experience in recruiting, training, and staff development. With a background in sales and use tax, audit, and accounts payable/receivable, she brings a well-rounded expertise to program management, facilitation, and full-cycle recruiting.

As the current VP of Membership for the ATD Fort Worth Chapter, Sharon is passionate about connecting members and building a strong community. She looks forward to continuing her role and supporting the chapter’s growth.

Melissa currently serves in a project management and business development role at PROCO Roofing, leveraging her extensive experience in leadership and team development. With a background as an educator and counselor for over 16 years, Melissa brings a unique blend of communication skills, empathy, and strategic thinking to her work outside of traditional education. She joined ATD to further her passion for leadership, continuous development, and impactful presentations, thriving in environments where she can teach and engage diverse audiences.

Outside of her work, she’s a proud wife, mother of six, grandma of three (and counting!), and dog mom to three. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and staying organized—especially during trips to Colorado.

With a background in instructional design and educational leadership, Matt has effectively integrated technology into his work, empowering learners and fostering their growth.

As VP of Programs, he aims to continue the legacy of great programming while exploring new, innovative ways to expand the chapter’s network of community support.

Tyler has 17 years of experience in public education before transitioning to the corporate world. He brings a comprehensive HR perspective to the learning and development space, helping organizations maximize the value of strong training programs.

Tyler is dedicated to leveraging his skills to create impactful learning experiences that drive success within organizations. His goal is to inspire others and enhance organizational performance through effective learning and development initiatives.

Married with three children and one grandchild, Tyler enjoys sunset walks on the beach and reading murder mysteries by candlelight.
