Here we deepen Reach into real relationships with a focused outreach blitz you can run over four weeks, then move into Rise into visibility and your new role. Lara will outline a practical mix of outreach, follow up, and visibility actions designed for busy, mid career professionals, including teachers and caregivers re entering the paid workforce. You’ll also learn how to talk about your pivot in interviews, handle gaps with confidence, and sketch a first 90 days plan so you’re ready not just to land a role, but to rise into it.

About the Speaker

Lara Azcona - Career-Change Strategist

Lara Azcona, MBA, is a career‑change strategist and ATD Certified Coach who helps serious professionals move into new roles and industries faster and with far less guesswork. She has coached and reviewed résumés and LinkedIn profiles for hundreds of job seekers, served on the Career Solutions leadership and résumé review teams, and led multiple career‑transition programs for ATD chapters.

Session Description

You have something valuable to offer, and people probably enjoy your trainings. But unless you’re able to clearly help others see ROI, you’ll have very few opportunities. In this session, we’ll unpack specific ways to demonstrate the impact of your trainings in a way that generates more opportunities, attracts greater resources, and provides a deeper impact. You’ll leave with a simple way to talk about your training’s ROI that you can use in your very next client or management conversation.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

Reframe ROI as something built into training design, not measured after the fact — replacing common limiting beliefs about ROI with a mindset that treats it as part of the training itself.
Distinguish between three forms of return — Return on Expectations, Return on Performance, and Contributive ROI — and identify which lens fits their own training situation.
Use a simple set of questions before and during a session to define what success looks like and track it as the training happens, rather than guessing at impact afterward.
Answer "what was the ROI of this training" in real time, even for a training that's already happened without pre-established expectations.

About the Speaker

Brady Ross

Brady Ross is a speaker, trainer, coach, and founder of Clear Path Leadership, an Oklahoma-based leadership development company. He works with clients and organizations across various industries, helping them strengthen their teams, enhance their performance, and plan for the future.

He is the author of four books, including his most recent work, Talk Like a Coach: Everyday Conversations That Shape Your Team and Sharpen Your Leadership. He also hosts the Leadership for Regular People podcast and writes a weekly newsletter called Leadership Lift through his LinkedIn page.

Brady is also passionate about equipping fellow coaches, serving as a coach trainer with Coach Approach Ministries and on the board of ICF Arkansas-Oklahoma. He has twice been named a Top 15 Coach by Influence Digest and has been featured as one of Oklahoma City's Ten Most Influential Young Professionals.
