Thursday, April 7th -"Change is good! You go first."
Change is good, but it can come at a cost if you’re not ready. When it comes to rolling out change, theory is not always the same as practice. Navigating the waters of change takes leadership, engagement, and considerable preparation. Come learn about steps you can take to navigate change successfully, and hear about the missteps that can make an organization stumble and lose precious ground to swirl and chaos. Explore the roles of Leadership, Talent Development and Communication with this case study of change management so your team can avoid the pitfalls of change.
Starting his career as a biochemist, Joey Putnam discovered that he was more passionate about performance than he was about proteins. His training career began there as a Health and Safety Trainer with the American Red Cross and has taken Joey across the Financial Services industry to his current role as VP of Learning and Development at one of the nation’s fastest growing mortgage companies, Caliber Home Loans. Experience in Change Management, Communication, and Learning and Development has given Joey a practical perspective on getting people from point A to point B and its unique impact on the learning process.
